What are Leader Forums?
A Leader Forum is a form of commissioner service and supplemental training for volunteers at the unit level. The objectives of a Leader Forum are to provide leaders with program ideas, information on policy and events, and training opportunities. It is a forum for sharing experiences and enjoying fun and fellowship with other Scout leaders. When skillfully executed, the Leader Forum experience will inspire, motivate, and enable unit leaders to provide a stronger program for their Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts.
The Next Leader Forum: February 15, 2017
The next Leader Forum will be on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Camp Mountain Run at 7pm. This is an exciting meeting and we encourage everyone to be there as we will be discussing the National Youth Leader Training which will be held at Camp Mountain Run from June 11-16, 2017; Spring fundraising ideas to fund the Scouting program; Summer camp information; other information on how to deliver a quality program at your meetings!
