Wood Badge

Woodbadge Training

Wood Badge is a Fortune 500 leadership training course designed with Scouting detail. The purpose of Wood Badge is to develop skilled leaders who can strengthen Scouting units in achieving the mission of the Boy Scouts of America. The course encompasses the key concepts of management skills, and is therefore helpful not only in Scouting, but at work, church, other organizations, and families.

Tentatively, the Bucktail Council will have its turn to host a course in 2018 on the dates of August 3-5 and 17-19.  While we know many will not want to wait that long, we encourage anyone interested in participating in one of the three Wood Badge courses held in Area 4 each year.

Please contact Sheri Price, Program Assistant, for more information at (814) 371-5650 or email.
